Annual reports

The collection comprises photographs, maps, administrative files, and research materials related to the Chesapeake Western Railway. The materials in this collection were compiled by Don W. Thomas, former president and general manager of Chesapeake Western, and C. Grattan Price Jr., author of "The Crooked & Weedy": A History of Virginia's Chesapeake Western Railway.

The collection comprises the administrative files, photographs, and scrapbooks documenting the Department of Living Sciences and affiliated student organizations (Frances Sale Club and Phi Omicron Tau) at James Madison University.

The Office of Admissions Annual Reports consist of 30 folders containing the yearly “annual report of activities of admission and student aid programs.” The reports present student enrollment statistics, freshman class profiles, and market areas for enrollment.

The Office of the President: Board of Visitors Records, 1908-2001, document the activities of the James Madison University Board of Visitors and its predecessor, the Board of Trustees. Materials include meeting minutes, correspondence, financial documents, and president’s reports.

The Robert James Sullivan Jr. Papers consist of professional and personal records and reports, and document Sullivan's time as City Planner of Harrisonburg from 1965-1991, his career in the Political Science Department at James Madison University, and work as the “unofficial historian” of Harrisonburg. Materials include city planning reports, newspaper articles, photographs, scrapbooks, and maps.

The Small Business Development Center Records documents the creation and growth of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center. The collection comprises of financial budgets, proposals, donations, outreach programs, and articles that cover the growing success of the Shenandoah Valley SBDC at James Madison University.

The Virginia Child Protection Newsletter (VCPN) Records, 1927-2017, comprise eight boxes of materials related to the publication and distribution of the newsletter. The collection contains correspondence, requests for reference materials and back issues, reference lists for each volume, year-end reports, and grant summaries.
