John L. Heatwole Personal Papers, 1973-1995, consists of one Hollinger box and one flat box of items such as correspondence, exhibit notices, consignment contracts, magazine articles, photos, and sketches relevant to Heatwole's work as an artist and lecturer.

The John T. Harris Papers, 1771-1937 (bulk 1850-1900), consist of a large number of personal and political documents relevant to the life and career of John T. Harris. The bulk of the collection is comprised of letters of John T. Harris and his family, and of Peyton Randolph and his family. Several letters discuss Southern secession and the American Civil War. Also included are Randolph family letters, James Clarkson Papers, Civil War documents and Harris genealogy.
John V. Coxe Papers
The John V. Coxe Papers consist of a disbound scrapbook of photographs and documents detailing life in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Camp NIRA, Camp #3, Company 1387, from 1933 - 1934. Also included are newspaper clippings from the 1930s - 1980s relating to various aspects of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
John W. Spitler surveying notebook and travel diary
The John W. Spitler Surveying Notebook and Travel Diary, 1855, includes various handwritten rules and mathematical formulas used for surveying and plotting land as well as a record of Spitler's trip from Augusta County, Virginia to Kansas City, Missouri with his father, Reverend Jacob Spitler, for a church conference. Both Spitlers died of cholera en route to their destination.
