These documents include deeds and indentures pertaining to land granted to John Bowman, as well as wills and financial records, and records pertaining to the construction of a new Rader’s Church, 1878-1879.

Also included are photographs, printing blocks, and a typescript copy of Johannes Braun's 1818 "Treatise on slavery and serfdom."Johannes Braun or John Brown, born 1771 in Germany and later settling in the Shenandoah Valley, became the leading minister of the German Reformed Church in Virginia.

In addition to the receipts, there are two bills issued by the State Teachers College dated 1932 and 1933 listing itemized tuition and fees due for Catherine Garber.
