ALUM. Alumni collections

 Record Group
Identifier: ALUM
Alumni collections are created and/or collected by former students of James Madison University (and all previous name iterations) to document their experience as students relating to academics, extracurricular activities, and social life. Alumni collections typically comprise scrapbooks, photographs, printed ephemera, and correspondence. Oral histories are also included. Given that JMU was not fully co-educational until 1966, the bulk of alumni collections document the experiences of white women students.
